The year has been filled with good news for Indian fitness industry, especially, in the sport of bodybuilding. After the coveted Mr Universe went to India, here comes Mr World and the gold has been clinched by Anuj Kumar Taliyan, an Indian Army Havildar from Madras Engineer Group.
Anuj just added another to his gold treasures but being Mr World is a league apart than the national achievements he already possesses. He has won gold medal for the 100+ kg category the 11th World Bodybuilding Championship held in Jeju Island, South Korea.
He has been in best of his forms lately, he has brought Army cut back to the spot light as something which is very much crisp, smart and doesn’t require much of effort to maintain. Because of Army rules, he had to stick to a rigorous grooming routine but he has made the most of it indeed! Bodybuilding has been teamed up with impeccable sense of style because of him.
Anuj deservingly received a rousing welcome by the senior Army officials after he won the gold medal in the World Bodybuilding Championship. The army discipline might have helped him but it is his individual hard work and dedication which has lead him to set another benchmark in the sport of bodybuilding.
