Bodyandstrength.com met Sangram Chougule, a name which needs no introduction in Indian bodybuilding industry and Darpan Kaura, the name behind well-known fitness brand Bodiscience. Two of them have joined hands with Mr. Tilakraj from DCWS to come up with an out-of-the-league bodybuilding competitive platform – Sangram Classic.
In the exclusive interview, they talked their heart about the show and their vision about the bodybuilding industry as a whole. They have planned a lot and have taken a brave step forward together as a team to work for the interest of athletes through this unique platform.
Darpan Kaura from Bodiscience offered to sponsor the event, Mr. Tilakraj brought in his contacts and credibility to take it further on the brainchild of Sangram Chougule! Although the roles were just an outline, when it came to implementation, all the roles just merged and they helped each other out as a great team working for a common mission.
Sangram said profoundly that his 15 years of experience as a champion in the industry has made him realize that whatever is done be it from prize to sponsorship, a champion takes everything and keeps himself at the top whereas the challengers putting in equal efforts most of the times, just have to wait for the due recognition. We have to realize that only champions do not make this industry, there is no true champion without the challengers.
Darpam Kaura and Sangram Chougule didn’t forget to mention the untiring efforts of Mr. Tilakraj in making Sangram Classic a success. He couldn’t come for the interview because he was busy coordinating things at the backend for the same.
Darpan Kaura said that Sangram Classic has huge cash prize plus immense exposure for the winners. Apart from that they will be sponsored by Welcare and Absolute Nutrition for dietary supplements. This is not all, they will be getting a photoshoot done with Sangram Chougule exclusively!
Sangram Classic team is keeping it fair for all the contestants in the bodybuilding industry and is keeping it open for all. Since Sangram has congenial relations with all the federations, challengers from all the federations can come in and compete on the stage of Sangram Classic.
The event has come out with good amount of registrations and the preparations are in full-swing right now. For the promotions of the event Sangram has said that he never thought of promotions in the first place because when people from the industry come together it automatically happens with everyone’s support. The real thing is promotion of competing athletes and that he has assured will be done through Sangram Classic.
Sangram Classic will take place in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the sports hub of the capital which in itself is a prestigious platform.
