Home workout for core is the best workout, as it is done without any equipment and gives sturdy results, if followed with dedication. Bodyweight exercises work best for the core.

Core workout needn’t be done only for ABS-something that became a fad in the recent years. A strong core is essential for a strong physique. It simply need not be done for just looking good, or highlighting it as the strongest feature of a chiseled physique, but as a mandatory part of your exercise routine. There are innumerable exercises that can be done for the core. The basic impact has to be on the abdominals, and that can only be achieved through the right movement.

Why are Core Exercises Important?

Core is not merely the abdominal muscles, but it encompasses your entire torso. Core is responsible for all the movements majorly, and they also ensure stabilization. Increased core strength has the potential to strengthen your entire body while giving you greater stabilization. Strong core muscles help you maintain correct posture and reduce strain on your spine. Core training reduces the risk for various health problems. Strong core muscles reduce the risk for neck pain, torn muscles, ruptured disks, strained ligaments and incontinence. Core training also improves athletic performance. Your core muscles are the base of support for your entire body. Core strength is crucial in every movement you do.

That stable base is super important when you start moving. The ab muscles play a dominant role in movement in every plane of motion: sagittal (forward and backward), frontal (left and right), and transverse (rotational).

Your core is responsible for many of the bending, twisting, and lifting movements that you take for granted every day--and if you let your core strength slide, you won't be able to perform those exercises as well as you'd like.

An improved strength, balance and stability will decrease your chances of injury and the lower back pain. When you build core strength, you'll be able to perform the same routines you do every day with lower risk, both of acute injury and of repetitive stress injury. Not only will you be better able to keep up with your daily activities, but you'll also decrease downtime and make it easier to do the things you need to do every day.
