Good leadership is all about inspiring others and Bollywood has been doing so and has lead many to a fit and healthy lifestyle too. Here are some of the celebrities who stand as a testimony of the success of Yoga and Ayurveda in enhancing their health, strength and longevity.

Everybody wants to stay fit and healthy, especially the celebrities who appear on the silver screen or TV. Some of the stars of Bollywood are too conscious about their bodies and stay fit for a long time. Look at Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Rekha, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Zeenat Aman, Malaika Arora, Shilpa Shetty, Kareena Kapoor Khan and many more. They not only visit the gyms but also do yoga.

And from the last 20 to 30 years, even Ayurveda has modified and evolved into a powerhouse that is serving billions around the globe. Nature has bestowed numerous beneficial vegetation that has medicinal qualities in them, all that is required is, to do research on them and Ayurveda have done exactly that. By now, it is a well-known fact that Ayurveda’s completely based on the vegetation and has provided help to the celebrities in keeping their bodies fit & fine with no side effects.

Modern medical facilities do grow the bodies at a fast pace but has lots and lots of side effects that can turn disastrous at the later stage of life. No one wants to look ugly when they get old, so most of them have engulfed the Ayurvedic norms to treat their bodies when they fall sick.

Look at some of them like Akshay Kumar who is absolutely fit & fine for the last 28 years. He believes totally in doing exercises and believes in Ayurvedic kind of remedies. Once a visit to Kerala to an Ayurvedic place, where he went to detoxify his body and returned in the peppy mood. He indulges in the natural things and never stalks fancy massages and international spas. Even he said that we Indians have such an immense treasure of Ayurveda, why are we not paying much attention towards it. He did meditation there and came out with flying colors, that’s why he looks radiant and also increased his stamina and concentration. “Let’s show this world, the power our Indian techniques like Ayurveda and yoga have… Try it.I guarantee that you will wake every morning with a smile as I do. Goodnight, Jai hind!” He said.

Shilpa Shetty, in spite of being the mother of a kid, has the slimmest body in Bollywood. She follows Yoga and has launched some CDs called “Shilpa’s Yoga” in the market to spread the benefits of Yoga. Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra made an herbal company in the name of their son, Viaan as “Viaan Healthcare,” which was designed by an Ayurvedic doctor called Dr. Vikram Chauhan. It also produces Ayurvedic Remedies that have been present in India since ages and are being explored now.

Honorable Prime Minister of India

Narendra Modi, the PM of India had launched a Fit India movement and said afterward that life is going on because of ‘Yoga’, ‘Pranayam’ and ‘Ayurveda.’ He agrees that all these three have kept me running. He was the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014. After that, he was sworn in as the PM of India and he is still in the best of his health. He is also going to approve Ayurvedic facilities to get a boost and was in conversation with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and stressed on traditional Indian medicines, Ayurveda and Yoga that heals so many ailments.

There are many more famous personalities like ageless Rekha, who began her career in the late 70s, is still giving beautiful performances, used to be a plump lady before she became a true fan of doing Yoga and Ayurveda. She believes in the ancient science of Ayurveda and goes for an Ayurvedic spa treatment and Aromatherapy, whenever she gets the time at her home. She also leads a disciplined life that is staying happy and stress free. All these things make her look flawless and age is just a number for her.

Kareena Kapoor Khan,

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who achieved a zero figure through a strict diet plan and doing exercises along with meditation and yoga. She does 90 minutes of Yoga daily and the day she misses, her whole day seems ruined as she is in the habit of doing Yoga and hada strict diet chart that is completely vegetarian, the diet prescribed by Planet Ayurveda. She even launched 3 DVDs that promotefitness & health. She has a huge fanfollowing her in Bengal, being a Bengali beauty. This Bollywood queen & heartthrob has maintained her fitness since the last 25 years due to her disciplined lifestyle and well-planned workout. As an intelligent person, she likes to have a heavy breakfast, moderate lunch and a light dinner, but all her food is full of proteins that keep her going, and maintain a sexy figure.

Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli

Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli are both fitness freaks. When the whole world was enjoying welcoming the New Year party, both of them escaped to the mountains to an Ayurvedic resort to detoxify their bodies. With an extensive program that relies on Ayurvedic diet and Yoga asanas (postures).
