Bodybuilding shows are the source of strength and encouragement for Indian bodybuilding athletes. Apart from the shows which are organized by bodybuilding federations directly, there are individual bodybuilding championships / competitions which are regulated by federations and some of them are organized as an initiative by individual fitness industry entrepreneurs or expo organizations.
Bodyandstrength.com recognized the need to list these shows in one place for the knowledge of all aspiring and competing athletes in India. All the listed shows do not directly come under an association or federation and hence, are classified as individual bodybuilding shows. If bodybuilding federations and associations are involved, they work in the capacity of a regulatory body or affiliating body for them.

1. Sheru Classic
The competitive show comes under NPC and is regulated by IFBB and Sheru Classic. Manish Gandhi andSheru Harmeet Aangrish head its operations here in India. It is a popular bodybuilding show and has always been a coveted competition for all kinds of bodybuilding athletes in India.
Sheru Classic will take place on the sidelines of IHFF expo at Bangalore on 23rd & 24th February 2019, Delhi on 19th - 20th - 21st July 2019, Mumbai on 15th - 16th - 17th November 2019, will feature some of the world’s strongest men & women and will also play a huge role in instilling confidence in Indian athletes who will showcase their strength on this platform.

2. Sheru Male Model and Female Model Search
The show is organized by Sheru Classic which is an headed by Sheru Harmeet Aangrish. It is very popular and pumps up the fitness expos by IHFF (organizing head – Manish Gandhi) in India.

3. Jerai Classic
It is a bodybuilding show spearheaded by Rajesh Rai, the owner of Jerai Fitness Pvt. Ltd. Since1994, JERAI Fitness Pvt. Ltd has been designing, manufacturing, and providing weight resistance exercise equipment in the country. The company then ventured into organizing bodybuilding championships in various category which has been a hit with athletes all over the nation.
Jerai Classic Grand 2018 is coming up in December this year and registrations are on for the same at their website.

4. Fit Factor, India
This competition is organized by BodyPower which is an international company and not part of any federation. It is an influential platform for male and female fitness models to showcase their mettle on stage.
BodyPower India is Asia's largest sport, fitness, wellness and nutrition exhibition, set to attract over 40,000 visitors in 2019, 11th-13th January at SRPF Ground, NH 8, Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400065.

5. Dorian Yates Classic
As the name suggests Dorian Yates is a bodybuilder of international acclaim being 6 times Mr. Olympia winner. It is regulated by BodyPower as part of its expos.

6. Sangram Classic
This event is promoted by BodiScience, leaders in providing a one stop solution for all fitness requirement. Sangram Classic is organised by Delhi council for welfare of sportsmen (DCWS), who are agressively working on welfare of sportsmen. In association with bodybuilding icon Sangram Chougule , this event will focus on providing a great platform for all athletes to showcase their talent. Sangram classic is coming on 6th Jan at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium New Delhi.
7. Boss Classic
This is a bodybuilding and physique championship is organized by an individual – Harry Sandhu. Harry Sandhu is the Director of the Global Body Building Contest Prep Coaching Team, TEAM BOSS & BOSS CLASSIC. Present series of the show is being held across India in the month of November and December, 2018.

8. IFA Classic
The bodybuilding competition is affiliated to NABBA / WFF which is a federation (refer to BIG to bodybuilding federations).
9. Gold Classic
The show comes under NPC and is in association with IFBB (refer to BIG to bodybuilding federations).In 2019, the show is coming up on January 19th in Mumbai, January 20th in Delhi and February 8th in Ahmedabad.

10. Shawn Ray’s NPC Indian Classics
The show is guided by 2 times Mr. Olympia Runner-Up and creator of Shawn Ray’s Hawaiian Classics. The show will now be conducted in India under the name Shawn Ray’s NPC Indian Classics. This bodybuilding competition is organized by NPC, IFBB.The championship show is coming up in the month of May 2019.
