Beat the Heat with an Easy & Quick Pineapple Protein Shake

As summers are here and scorching sun is upon our heads. It’s a best time to try some cool smoothies & shakes. So today we will prepare a quick Pineapple Protein Shake which is not only tasty, It’s super healthy too!

As we all love Pineapple&it contains all the essential Vitamins & Minerals which our body needs. Consumption of Pineapple can help shorten viral infections & give strength to our bones. Also it is proven that it can help to prevent risk of cancer in our body. So it’s safe to say that it is really a healthy fruit.

A Pineapple contains Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Phosphorus, Calcium & Zinc which helps in fighting many diseases. It is also a rich source of Vitamin C which helps in maintaining a healthy immune system and the manganese which is present in it help to build a healthy metabolic rate.

So we are preparing a Quick Pineapple Protein Shake today which is super healthy & tasty too. Consumption of this drink will help you to reduce inflammation, enhance digestion and boost your immunity. Will this drink help you in weight loss? Yes. As we all know Pineapple is best known for helping in weight loss as it is very low in calories. 

 Let’s quickly start with our recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Scoops of Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Pineapple Chunks
  • A Piece of Pineapple Wedge for garnishing
  • Few Ice Cubes

Directions:

Add 1 glass of cold water in a jar of a blender along with pineapple chunks, protein powder & ice.Blend until all the ingredients are well combined. Garnish with a piece of Pineapple wedge & enjoy!

You can also use additional ingredients like Banana, Chia Seeds & Flax Seeds etc for a better taste!
